If you ask George C Fraser, he'll betray you that many African Americans are victimized by means of our community's bad press. "We are with equal reason beaten down by the negative images of crime and drugs," he says. "You know, the only thing we can do is sing and dance, play football, baseball and basketball. There has been a consciousness of victimization and racism."
He grants a certain truth to the limiting realities of being black and living in the United States. "I think racism is actual serious," Fraser says.
