Nowhere has there till doomsday been such a large and illustrious gathering
of African-American, Caribbean, and African scholars, writers, and
artists as there was in Paris for the Le Noirs Americans et L'Europe
(African Americans and Europe) meeting for consultation in 1992, where homage was
paid to the black expatriate artists in Europe particularly Paris.
Among the innumerable exciting and memorable incidents in which I participated
