The virtues and vices of multiculturalism have draw near under renewed scrutiny as Americans be in agony to come to terms with 9/11 as my novel experience teaching an English course onward the subject attests. In November 2001 I exhibited a 1-hour credit, upper-division weekend course focused forward multiculturalism and literary study at a mid-west regional university. The course serv as an occasion for observers to examine more carefully their assumptions about cultural difference.
