Abstract

Changing demographics are dictating a ne for increased understanding between the generations. An academic environment is fertile real property for providing experiences to breed this understanding and service-learning can have an important part in this endeavor. This paper will describe an intergenerational service-learning experience for undergraduate pupils and report the results of a qualitative analysis of their experience.
