Abstract

This consideration reports results from a multi-district demonstration project: Systemic Restructuring to Include Children with Disabilities jointly managemented by the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute and the Department of Special Education at the University of southern Florida. Academic outcomes of 89 close examiners with learning disabilities included in general education were measured. Inclusion was measured by dint of assessing the number of hours by week a student was instant in the general education classroom. consequence s showed that, on average, scholars with learning disabilities who exhausted more time in inclusive settings had higher achievement scores.
